RockLAB SOCIAL
RockLab Social gives students more room to connect, experiment, collaborate, and make music with other young musicians outside of the normal lesson format. A teacher will be on site to guide, encourage, and help students stay moving in a productive direction.
This is not just for outgoing kids or advanced students. It is also for the shy student, the younger beginner, or the student who wants more music in their life but needs a gentler on-ramp. Some students will jump right in. Others may take a little time to warm up, observe, and find their footing. Both are completely okay.
It also gives us a helpful new way to support busy students. If life gets hectic and a student has to miss lessons from time to time, that does not have to mean missed progress. RockLab Social can be a great way to supplement that gap by getting some check-in time with a teacher on site, getting reconnected, and getting pointed in the right direction again.
For some students, this will be a great first step toward more group playing and performance-based experiences. For others, it will simply be a fun and motivating way to spend more time around music and community.
Either way, the goal is the same: give students a place to grow, create, and start feeling more connected to the bigger BRMS music community.
