What this is

Real on-camera training,
built for first-timers.

A small-group semester that introduces young actors to the craft the way the industry actually uses it. Students build confidence in front of a lens, learn to make honest choices as a character, and get a real feel for auditioning, all in a supportive, professional, age-appropriate room. Twelve seats, one coach who works on set, and a Fall Showcase to put it all on stage.

The build

Foundations, improv, character,
then the spotlight.

Beginners start with the basics: confidence and presence, then foundational technique, character work, improvisation, ensemble skills, scene study, and introductory audition prep. Everything the students develop across the semester points toward one night in December.

Class is in session

Two-hour, in-person group acting classes every Tuesday night.

Week 4

Parent progress meeting

One-on-one feedback on each young actor's growth, goals, and strengths. No group class this week.

5th Tuesday

Bonus, when it lands

Used for enrichment, makeup instruction, or showcase prep. Families hear in advance when it applies.

Families are partners

Parents stay in the loop on progress the whole way through, not just at the finish line.

The finale Fall Showcase, December 8. The culminating night where students perform the work they built all semester.

Samantha Smith

Actor · Coach · Storyteller

Samantha works in television and film, and she brings that set experience straight into the classroom. Her approach is warm and professional: she meets beginners where they are, builds real technique, and teaches the habits, preparation, focus, and creative courage, that carry a young actor well beyond one semester.

Installment plan

$175 / month × 4

Four monthly payments ($700 total), an installment plan for the same full-semester enrollment.

Enrollment is for the full Fall semester. A student's seat is confirmed once registration and the required payment are received. Space is limited to twelve young actors to keep the coaching personal.

We host the class at our Baton Rouge creative space, celebrate the young actors, and welcome them into a building already buzzing with music and performance.

The program

Samantha handles registration, tuition, parent communication, and everything taught in the room. Questions about enrolling go straight to her.
